Our family-run, quiet and spacious holiday park in North Devon has fun for the whole family where you can enjoy being surrounded by nature. With two outdoor heated pools, five ponds (one for doggy swims and another for fishing), woodland to explore, and lots of open space, our park, located in the North Devon Biosphere, is the perfect place for you to spend quality time together and relax.
At Smytham we have three different pitch types. Our Standard and Premium pitches come in three different surfaces. That means we have seven different types of pitches so that you can book the holiday that suits you best!
All our pitches have an electric hook-up which is operated on an Electric Fair Usage Policy. In low season guest are allocated 8KWh per day and in mid and high season, guests are allocated 5KWh per day. If usage is higher than this, there will be a charge for each extra KWh used.

Our pitches are located across four areas of our park so that everybody staying with us has plenty of space and can enjoy a peaceful holiday. To make the most of your holiday, we allocate pitches upon arrival. Below, you can find information about our pitch locations.
One of our original touring and camping areas, The Paddock contains a selection of standard all‑weather and standard grass pitches. With a central location, facilities such as Smythies Bar, Reception, the shop, games room and play park are within easy reach. These easy‑access facilities make us a great family campsite in Devon.
The original Walled Garden that accompanies the manor house houses several of our standard grass pitches and is a sheltered location that hosts small tents and campervans. It’s also home to our two heated outdoor swimming pools — perfect for those who enjoy camping with pools — with a wetsuit and bike wash, muddy paw wash, laundry and facilities block close by.
Developed in 2017, The Orchard is home to a selection of spacious standard pitches, grass and hard standing premium pitches, and our en suite pitches. One of our facilities blocks and our motorhome service point are also located in The Orchard.
The Meadow opened in May 2023 and is home to a range of all‑weather and grass premium pitches. Its elevated location affords picturesque views over the park to farmland, woodland and the North Devon countryside beyond. On clear days you can see all the way to Dartmoor National Park.
